WHEN YOU GET CUT: Now What?
Nobody signs up to get cut.
You train.
You sacrifice.
You show up early.
You stay late.
And then your name isn’t on the list.
Let me say this first:
It definitely stinks and it’s definetly a let down.
It’s ok to feel sad or upset temporarily.
Now this part below is the part you need to focus on. 👇🏽
🔥❤️Getting cut does not mean you aren’t talented.
It does not mean you aren’t valuable.
It does not mean your story is over.
It means one of two things:
There wasn’t enough room.
You’re not ready — yet.
And “yet” is powerful.
The difference between the players who make it and the players who eventually dominate is how they respond to adversity.
You have two options:
Feel sorry for yourself
Or get obsessed with growth
The gym doesn’t lie. Work shows. Confidence grows from preparation.
Michael Jordan got cut in high school. He didn’t post about it. He worked.
At Huntsman we teach: God. Family. Toughness. Hard Work.
Toughness isn’t chest-pounding when you win.
Toughness is composure when you lose something you wanted.
If you get cut:
Ask what you can improve.
Take notes.
Build a plan.
Show back up better.
Your response will define you more than the decision ever will.
This isn’t rejection.
It’s redirection.
And if you trust God with the process, He wastes nothing.
